Sometimes
when you send a message, you want to send something more than just a text
or a photo or an audio message. Maybe you want to send
someone a video of your baby’s first steps or a cute video of your dog
chasing his tail. As long as you have iMessage turned on and another iPhone
to send it to, it’s easy and quick.
Here’s
how:
1. Make sure iMessage is turned on by going to Settings
> Messages and toggling on iMessages.
2. Go to your Messages app and choose a contact
who also has an iPhone.
3. Press and hold the camera icon on the bottom left of
the screen (Note, the option will look slightly different in
iOS 9, but the instructions remain the same).
4. When you’re ready to start shooting the
video, press and hold the red record button. To stop recording, let go of
the button.
5. You can preview the video by tapping the
play button.
6. To send the video, tap the up arrow.
